'University - Business Cooperation – A Partnership for Modernisation and Growth
22-23 February 2018
we are pleased to inform you that the European Commission, in partnership with the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science and the Bulgarian Employers organisation will host the next thematic University-Business Forum 'University - Business Cooperation – A Partnership for Modernisation and Growth'. The event is organised in the framework of the first ever Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and will take place at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia on the 22nd and 23rd February 2018.
Celebrating University Business Forum's 10th anniversary, the day and a half event will bring together around 300 representatives from higher education and business as well as local, regional and public authorities. The participants will address how modernisation and growth can be supported through more effective links and relationships between higher education institutions and business.
The forum will be opened by the European Commissioner for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, Mr Tibor Navracsics and the Bulgarian Minister of Education and Science, Mr Krasimir Valchev.
The event will be structured around the three following themes:
- Leadership, Management and Governance
- Driving Regional Innovation and Development
- Entrepreneurship Education and Development
The Forum will start in the morning of 22nd February and run until mid-day of 23rd February. A half-day cultural programme after the closing of the event will be offered for those who are interested.
